Dan's diverse background is rooted in service and social impact. Born in Honduras and raised in the United States; Dan’s passion for helping others began early in life through volunteer work. He holds two graduate degrees: a Master of Science in Professional Counseling and an MBA in Healthcare Management. He completed a fellowship in Patient Safety through Jewish Healthcare Foundation and briefly attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine's Doctoral Program for Clinical Psychology. While living in Philadelphia, he secured his first consulting assignment.

After some success with investing, he traveled and conducted due diligence on a public company for a group of over twenty independent investors—a turning point that inspired him to further engage in consulting assignments. For over a decade since, Dan has provided strategic guidance to companies  of all shapes and sizes - nonprofits, startups, and large-scale companies. Through advocacy-led fundraising, Dan has contributed to over $200M in public funding and $7B+ in economic impact.

Outside of consulting, Dan has dedicated over eight years to nonprofit leadership. He has served as an executive board director for Glade Run Foundation, Ten Thousand Villages, The Pittsburgh Project, Berks Arts, and Berks Opera Company. Dan has served on advisory committees for Autism Speaks and Global Links. Concurrently, he provided behavioral health treatment and services throughout his career, adding to his commitment to servant leadership and social impact. These diverse experiences have expanded Dan's repertoire of consulting skills and furthered his ability to create positive social impact.
